Common questions

Before you book

Do foreign tourists need a permit for the Bandarban Hill Tracts?
Yes. Foreign tourists must obtain a Hill Tracts permit at least 10 days before travel, so passport and visa copies must be sent in advance. Local authorities may delay or deny permits for security reasons, in which case Bangladesh Eco Adventure is not liable for cancellations.
Can I fly instead of taking the train to Chittagong?
Yes. Domestic flights between Dhaka and Chittagong are available as an upgrade option for approximately USD 35 one way.

10/10 Would recommend them for all Bangladesh tourism!

Mahadi at Bangladesh Eco Adventure and team really made the trip a dream come true — they handled all logistics, were on time, excellent communicators, well priced and had immense local knowledge. We went to the Sundarbans for a few days, as well as day tours in Sonargaon and Dhaka. Sundarbans in particular is a must see. Myself and my friends had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend them as the people to trust with all your travel and tourism in Bangladesh.
