A full-day cultural exchange meeting Bangladesh's artisans, from rickshaw builders and jewelers to potters and Dhamrai's brass casters.

Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby at 07:30 AM and depart by private vehicle for Dhamrai (approx. 56 km / 2 hours). Begin at a rickshaw workshop on Dhaka's outskirts, where the city's most colorful transport is built and repaired. Continue to Batuka village in Hamayetpur, where nearly every home is a small workshop and artisans create delicate jewelry by hand. Visit the Savar National Martyrs' Monument, Bangladesh's most iconic memorial to the heroes of the 1971 Liberation War, then step into a traditional pottery-making village to watch families shape clay into functional and decorative pieces. Enjoy a traditional Bangla lunch at a local restaurant before concluding at Dhamrai's famous brass workshops, where the ancient lost-wax method is still used, and discovering several zamindar-era heritage buildings around the village. Drive back to Dhaka in the afternoon, arriving at your hotel.
Mahadi at Bangladesh Eco Adventure and team really made the trip a dream come true — they handled all logistics, were on time, excellent communicators, well priced and had immense local knowledge. We went to the Sundarbans for a few days, as well as day tours in Sonargaon and Dhaka. Sundarbans in particular is a must see. Myself and my friends had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to recommend them as the people to trust with all your travel and tourism in Bangladesh.
