Day 01: Sreemangal train trip & Explore the TEA CAPITAL
Travelling by train is always an adventure. It takes you through all of the communities, lush fields, and rivers in both rural and urban areas. It's a great method to see Bangladesh and its lovely landscape every day. The train arrives at lunchtime, and we'll be taken by tuk-tuk to our local eco-resort, passing through lush green tea and rubber plantations.
We'll leave after lunch for the Kalachakra tea estates. These lovely gardens with vegetation, which are less well-known, offer you a sense of serenity in your mind and in your eyes. Our tribal guide will take you on a tour of the tribal villages, where you will meet locals and learn about their culture and heritage.
From a scenic vantage point, take in the sunset ( in monsoon for hail haor or in winter from baikka beel bird sanctuary area). We'll take you out for a stroll and a taste of the famed seven-layer tea in the evening. Eco Cottage for the night
Note: with additional payment and approval from the authority, you can do cycling in the tea town.
