Day 01: Dhaka Arrival
Meet with our guide at Dhaka international airport, after completing the formalities, our guide will take you to your hotel, check in to the hotel, and have free time to relax or stroll around the area. Overnight in Dhaka.
Day 02: Explore Old Dhaka in a local way
Today early morning we will head to explore Dhaka city with our guide. We will start our day with the colorful flower market near the university area. The highlights of the day are Kawran Bazar wholesale vegetable market and train track slam walk. Then we will explore the old Dhaka by walking in the tine lanes exploring the old town, heritage buildings routes, taste the famous biryani in popular places, boat ride in Burignga River and also visit the shipbuilding industry, etc. we will do a rickshaw ride on the way back to the hotel to enjoy the liveliness of the city. Overnight in Dhaka. (Breakfast & Lunch Included)
Day 03, 04: Train Ride & Organic Heritage village Tangail, UBNIG
The morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and we will drive to the central station to take the three hours to ride to tangail city. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to the community-based NGO guest house inside the village to stay two nights. In these two days, we will do a cycling tour to explore the village, meet with the weavers and learn the traditional handmade weaving, the beautiful terracotta plague heritage ATIA mosque from 17AD, visit the pottery village, participate in organic farming activities, evening villagers cultural performances, it’s also a nice place to see stars at night & fireflies! We will take you to the kitchen to see how the Bangladeshi people cook with traditional stoves. transfer by tuk-tuk to UBNIG organic farming village, it's a remote village with basic accommodation facilities, food, weaving village, pottery work, ATA mosque from 17 AD, cycling, etc. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)
Day 05: train ride & overnight inside Paharpur UNESCO Site
Early morning transfer to the tangail train station and we will take one north Bengal going train n to Jaipurhat station via crossing the mighty Jamuna / Brahmaputra River and many small or big rural or urban townships. Upon arrival at Jaipurhar station at around noon, we will be transferring you by tuk-tuk to the Paharpur Buddhist monastery. Check in to the archeological guest house inside the complex and enjoy the beautiful view from your brand the UNESCO heritage Paharpur 8th AD.
Paharpur is the single largest Buddhist monastery ever built in the south of Himalaya, it was a center of Mahayana Buddhism during pala dysentery, still, the pyramid shape central temple, the bronze Buddha statue attracts a lot of tourists. Enjoy the sunrise and the sunset in Paharpur. (Breakfast & Dinner Included)
Day 06,07: Rajshahi & the Islamic heritage, santal tribal & Putia temple city
Morning enjoys the sunrise from paharpur and then we will transfer you to Jaipurhat station to take the train from Jaipurhat to silk city Rajshahi. Upon arrival, transfer to government motel Parjatan in a nice compound to stay two nights here. afternoon, we will explore Rajshahi city with an electric bike visiting the silk factory to see the entire process of making silk clothing from warm, enjoy the boat ride in the Ganges to see the sunset from the boat. Evening walk to the city center to try local foods of Rajshahi. Overnight in Rajshahi
Next morning we will drive the suburb of Rajshahi the masjid land border area towards the west, on the way visit put a temple city, it is considered one of the highlights of Bangladesh, beautifully makes this Hindu temple with the goddess of shiva, Vishnu, Govinda ornamented in the wall with clay terracotta art is unique.
Followed by visiting the santal painting village. Drive to the city of mango chapai nawabgonj to see the Islamic heritage mosque from 15 AD during including sona masjid, darasbari masjid, toha khana complex, etc. Afternoon transfer to the hotel and overnight Rajshahi. (Breakfast Included)
Day 08: Train ride, Otter fishing & UNESCO Heritage Mosque city Bagerhat
An early morning train ride from Rajshahi to Jessore, it’s a five hours train ride starting from North West to traveling down to the southwest. Upon arrival Jessore, disembark and transfer to Narail otter fishing village, it’s a small traditional Hindu fisherman village, and it's one of the last villages in the world who still fishing with the help of otters. We will see the fishing and feed the otters with fish.
Later we will transfer you to bagerhat mosque city and spend the afternoon in bagerhat. This UNESCO heritage mosque city bagerhat was founded in 15 AD by the Khan Jahan Ali. He was the first who spread Islam in this region and built numerous mosques, tanks around this area. We will start our visit first with the most iconic sixty dome mosque also known as shat ghombuz masjid. It is the largest brick-made mosque in Bangladesh and is considered the most impressive Islamic monument in south East Asia! Followed by bibi beguni mosque, the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali, nine dome mosque, etc. we will also go deep inside the vegetation to visit the highest Hindu memorial the kodla moth also known as the ojuddha moth. It’s a very pleasant journey through small tiny lanes with beautiful landscapes, palm gardens, and villages, etc which also reflect a little Kerala to you! Overnight in bagerhat Guesthouse. Day 09, 10: Two days near Sundarbans National park in the wilderness
On Day 09 morning, we will be transferred to the Mongla port area by tuk-tuk and then we will cross the river and take a rickshaw through the village path to go to our community-based eco-cottage for two nights. This cottage is situated at the edge of the forest and you can enjoy watching the forest from the veranda. These two days, we will do an early morning boat trip inside the Sundarbans forest canals to see the vegetation closely and birds life. Visit the forest stations of herbaria and karamjol by taking an engine boat, we will hike to the train deep inside the mangrove, boat trip to the dolphin hotspot, walk inside the fishing village to see the daily life activities. Taste the local fish caught from the river and tries the local curries! Enjoy two nights in nature. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)
Day 11: famous Heritage Paddle steamer Cruise to Barisal
Early Morning transfer to moralgong boat station is the first station for the paddle steamer to start its journey towards Dhaka. We always encourage our tourists to take the paddle steamer ride from Moralgong or hularhat towards Barisal or Dhaka because this way they can enjoy a cruise using the best of daylight. The boat leaves around 09:30 am from moralgonj and arrives crossing all small and big channels with beautiful landscapes to arrive in Barisal in the early evening. upon arrival in Barisal city, transfer to a hotel near the river port so that you can enjoy the evening rush hour in the port. Overnight in Barisal city. (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
Day 12: Full day Floating market & backwater trip
Barisal region is clustered of islands and people depend on rivers all their all social and commercial activities. Today we will start early in the morning with no breakfast at the hotel. We will go for a tuk-tuk ride for an hour to reach the boat station at banoripara and immediately take an engine boat for the daylong excursions visiting the seasonal weekly floating markets in different places, the journey is very interesting taking narrow canals and seeing peoples everyday activities. We will have breakfast and lunch in local restaurants. The life of the gypsy fishermen's families is very interesting, living generation to generation on boats. Afternoon back to the city and take the overnight ferry boat with a private cabin with an attached toilet to Dhaka. Enjoy the night cruise and overnight on the boat. Day 13, 14: Welcome to the Tea capital of Bangladesh Sreemangal
Early in the morning, the boat arrives at Dhaka river port, and then we will transfer to the central station to take the five hours train ride to the tea capital sreemangal. Here in the tea state we will spend two days locally exploring the state. First day afternoon, we will take the tuk-tuk to go to remote tea gardens with beautiful viewpoints, meeting minority groups of Garo, khasia, and Manipuri tribes on these two days.
On the second day in sreemangal, we will hike to the lawarchara national park early morning looking to encounter hillock gibbons, tea workers' village, the bird sanctuary Baikka beel, taste the famous seven-layer tea & local tea in local stores. Overnight in an eco guest house in the Tea capital. (Breakfast Included)
Day 15: Full day train trip to Business capital Chittagong
The morning after breakfast, relax time and at around 12:00 pm, our train will arrive from Sylhet and it will be heading towards the Business capital Chittagong. it will book a cabin to travel smoothly and upon arrival, transfer to the government rest house walking distance from the station, overnight in Chittagong city. (Breakfast Included)
Day 16: Explore the Business capital Chittagong & Ship Breaking yard
The business capital Chittagong has to roll the economical wheels of Bangladesh. We will start our day after breakfast visiting the Second World War cemetery, followed by a drive through the Chittagong port area towards the mighty shitakunda ship-breaking industry. It’s the fourth largest in the world and the main source of rerolling steels of Bangladesh. Even though it's environmentally hazardous and high risk for the laborers, still this controversial way it is running. Now a day we cannot go inside to visit but on a boat trip to the river, you can see it even closer! Afternoon back to the city and visit the Iranian style chandanpura mosque, the fish harbor in the afternoon, strolling around the city center, etc. overnight in Chittagong City. Day17, 18: Two days in Rangamati Hill tracts & kaptai Lake Cruise
On Day 17, Morning after breakfast, we will take a private tuk-tuk ride to Rangamti Hill district. Surrounded by the controversial Kaptai Lake for hydroelectric power, this hill district is dominated by a tribe called Chakma and following the Buddhist religion. In 85 % Muslim-dominated country, the Chittagong Hill tracts 48% of people are Buddhist living peacefully. On the first day on the way, we will stop at the military checkpoint to show the permission copy for visiting the Rangamti hills. We will check into a lakeside view hotel .afternoon, visiting the hanging bridge, walk down to the lake to visit Chakma tribal villages. Dinner and overnight Rangamati. (Breakfast Included)
On day 18, the morning we will be taking a boat trip in Asia’s one of the largest manmade lakes kaptai. This area water transportation is very important, all the crops grow in the hills and fishes caught in the lake has been brought to the mainland by boat. During the boat trip, we will visit remote villages, tribal weekly markets, swimming in the sweet water lake, etc. lunch will be served in the island restaurant and we will enjoy the sunset from the boat. Evening we will walk to the city center and try some local tribal food. Overnight in Rangamati Hill tracts. (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
Day 19, 20: Explore Bandarbans with Hills, hike & remote tribal Life
On day 19, the morning we will drive to Bandarban hill district via a nice panoramic kaptai hilly road. On the way in some viewpoint, we will stop to take pictures; we also need to stop to show our permission paper and signature at the local entry points. Upon arrival to the Bandarban hill tracts, we will transfer to the eco-resort located in the hills in nature a bit far from the city noise. Afternoon we will do a hiking tour trekking down from the resort to the Sangu river. This river is the main source of water for Bandarban and afternoon you will see all the tribal women come to the riverside for their household works. A boat trip in the Sangu river is one of the highlights of Bandarban. Transfer to the resort and overnight in Hillside resort. (Breakfast Included)
On day 20, we will be spending the day with remote tribal villages of the MRO tribe, bawm tripe, and Tripura tribe. On a market day, the Bandarban town is very busy with different tribal groups are coming to do their weekly shopping. Today we will try local tribal cuisine in the town. Afternoon visits the famous golden temple and enjoys the sunset from Nilachol tiger hills. Overnight in Bandarban Hills. (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
Day 21, 22: welcome to the beach city Cox’s Bazar
O day 21, the morning after breakfast, we will transfer you to beach city Coxs Bazar by public bus. upon arrival to the town, transfer to the hotel. Afternoon walk to the world's longest beach, enjoy the sunset, try the fresh fried fishes at the night markets, free time, and overnight in cox's Bazar. (Breakfast Included)
Today we will have time on the beach, you can go for a drive in marine drive, explore the local cultural sites, relax, and overnight in cox's Bazar. (Breakfast & Gala Dinner Included)
Day 23: Fly Back to Dhaka & visit the Old capital Sonargaon
The morning after breakfast, we will transfer to the airport and take the morning domestic flight from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka. upon arrival, we will be driving towards the old capital of Bangladesh sonargaon city. We will spend the day in sonargaon city visiting the famous Panam city, goladi mosque, beautiful Sardar bari, bamboo school, and boat ride in Meghna river. Afternoon free time for shopping and overnight in Dhaka
Day 24: Final Departure from Bangladesh
The morning after breakfast, free time. you will have a guide and car sand by to do anything you want to explore in Dhaka including shopping, visiting any sights or meeting with friends, or spending time on your own. Depending on your flight time, we will transfer you to the airport and

General Information Covid 19 & Common advice for Bangladesh Tour
Chittagong Hill district is the most remote part of Bangladesh. In the past, there was some conflict between Rangamati and Bandarban hill district. After the peace accord situation is safe to travel for foreigners. To ensure the safety and comfort of government orders before visit CHT (Chittagong Hill tract district), you have to go to apply for a special permit through a travel agency.
For applying to get a pass, they need 7 working days with a valid visa & passport copy with an application attached to the travel itinerary.
Tribal groups are friendly. You can go and visit them frequently but they are not used to see a tourist. So when you go, you needed a local guide that we always provide in some places of Rangamati and Bandarban. The tribal people are a little shy comparing to the Bangladeshi locals. For photography, it is wise to ask in advance.

Money transfer & tour confirmation – A budget tour of Bangladesh needed to be confirmed at least two weeks before the departure because it requires train ticket confirmation, flight ticket confirmation, Chittagong hill tract permission, etc. booking money is needed for confirming the tour 25 % of the total price. You can transfer via bank to our company account only!
Visa policy – before the covid outbreak, all the European countries, China, Japan, Taiwan, UK, US, Australia, and those who don’t have an embassy of Bangladesh gave us on arrival in 51 USD. Now all country travelers need a visa in advance with a covid negative certificate and a vaccination card. Please talk to us or any nearest high omission of Bangladesh or consulate for any new update or changes in the policy.
Customized tour plan: this 23 days tour is designed to offer travelers to see comfortably with fewer drives most of the days. Budget tour of Bangladesh is also flexible for travelers to customize it as per your travel duration, this itinerary can be shortened or expended as per your interest. You can also upgrade the hotels, add a private van instead of train rides or tuk-tuk ride for your comfort with a minimum additional price.
Mobile internet or hotel wifi: we recommend you to buy a local sim card and a 4g data package at a very affordable price of fewer than 10 dollars for 23 days internet facility in Bangladesh. Most of the hotel has internet facility only in the lobby only. So it's suggested to buy a local sim on arrival at the airport. Grameen phone sim date speed is better.
Covid outbreak and healthcare: covid outbreak just destroyed the tourism industry of Bangladesh. Like India or Nepal, still Bangladesh is doing very well to control the outbreak. Already 10 million people under-vaccinated and the number will be double soon. All the big cities in Bangladesh have proper medical facilities for covid patients.
Shopping: Bangladesh Eco Adventure doesn’t offer shopping tours but you can shop during your tours while visiting the cities. Your guide can help you or you can do your best bargains as you want.
Chittagong hill tracts & malaria: one of the biggest successes in our healthcare is controlling malaria in Chittagong hill tracts. It’s now very safe to travel Chittagong hill tracts and no need to take pills for this.
Bangladesh food or Vegetarian food: the common food in Bangladesh in the morning is bread with vegetables and eggs with tea, lunch, and dinner with rice, fish, chicken, mutton, beef, vegetable, and daal. Breakfast is included and in some places, lunch and dinner is mentioned in the itinerary

Train, bus or flight schedule – generally the trains are on time but sometimes it can delay 20 minutes to an hour. Here we don’t have any holds and before confirming the tour, you should be mentally prepared for this kind of delay. We normally book non-air-conditioned chair coach seats on train or bus because in the open window you can see more.
